there are quite some "extreme" metal bands nowadays sporting cosmic themes, but this album really does it justice sonically.

heavily athmospheric, epic (in the truest sense) death metal album. to be consumed in one go.

Bought a ticket to see Daughters in March with Blanck Mass at a local small venue, gonna be a good show.

 

Yeah seems like an odd pairing but I suppose they're both somewhat noisy... might be some interesting crowd overlap.

Gah, yeah I need more recent metal. I've been stuck in a rut of listening to mostly Metallica over the past few weeks because I'm going through some work related issues and have been feeling too shitty to listen to much else for some reason. That Mithras album kicked me into gear a bit though!

Also I need to keep listening to Gojira, so fkn good.

Yeah that's my most played album of theirs. I also quite like Magma, but really need to give the other albums more time as well. They're so good!
