Dragon
I remember seven years ago, I heard a track which sounded distinctly, excessively bleak and depressing. When I got into BoC and got hold of MHTRTC, I was surprised to find that the track called Turquoise Hexagon Sun was this very track. Also, it's worth mentioning that last year, the old tunes track Hiscores triggered an epiphany that made me break down in tears. Of horror. Guest eli
Maybe I'm particularly disturbed, but I think their music makes everything more depressing. Like they really make me think much harder about my pathetic excuse of a life. There's something about their tunes that trigger a sense of melodic nostalgia, which reminds me of a better time in my life. Sometimes when I'm alone, I listen to the same song 100 times, and they always remind me of some great memories. But despite how depressing they make me feel, I'm literally always in a good mood after a long session of listening to them. I will always love them, and I really don't understand all the TCH hate. Its a fantastic album. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/62199-most-depressing-boc-songs/page/2/#findComment-1488122 Share on other sites

Guest The Dirt
Beware the Friendly Stranger is pretty depressing and eerie. Pretty inventive too for a short little tune. Guest ArbitersGround
I'd go with either "Sunshine Recorder" or "In a Beautiful Place Out In The Country." Also, I'm sure this is mentioned a lot on this board, but there is WAY too much hate on The Campfire Headphase. For me, it's tied with Geogaddi for best BoC album. Edit: And +1 to whoever said "Soylent Night" from Hell Interface.
