The Rubber Bandits are great. Hadn't heard of them at all until the Willie O'Dea song, once I saw the video with a fellow in a mask swinging off railings and making wanking gestures I just got hooked! I actually don't find them funny as much as I enjoy their sheer lunacy and irreverance. Though the act of course is all dumbed down you get the feeling that the two behind it have very sharp brains, I'm sure they could just churn out funnies and make a quick buckm but I get the feeling they like to toy with irony, performance art...I don't really know what I'm talking about but you get the idea... It's just nice to see smart guys getting recognition instead of the usual fuckwits RTE churn out.

i'm not irish but it's catchy and i still lol'd.
