Need a Midi Keybaord (Thinking Axiom 49)

Well thanks to my Awesome Dad he surprised me today and said lets go look at Keyboards at Best Buy(Best Buy because we can put it on the card over there). Even though its Best Buy I was still very much inclined to see what they had.

Well they ended up having an 88 Note Full weighted/Hammer Casio Keyboard the Privia PX-130! http://www.casio-europe.com/euro/emi/privia/px130/

On Sale too! So it was like $500.

Came with a stand, pedals and hooks up to PC. Set everything up, it Sounds great, feels great and its more than perfect for starting out.

Thanks again for the help WATMM, I learned a thing or two from this thread. Now its just up to me to make use of this and hopefully manage to teach my self to play.

That's cool and definitely does the job but you could have gotten the Akai MPK88 in the lower 5 hundreds from a bunch of dealers. I am definitely buying it as soon as I can. Starting to build my mobile recording/jamming/performing workstation aircraft carrier with the dimensions of the MPK88 in mind although I don't think its much different in size than the old 88 key I have.
