Okay, as mentioned, track by track reactions...

1 - lots of energy. Good way to start off a Megaman remix album. I'm only occasionally in the mood for acid (or Megaman music, for that matter), but when I am this will definitely be on my playlist.

2 - similar situation as #1. But you're also my Track Brother™.

3 - I'm a fan of Mitch Murder, like a number of people here I think. There's a lot of sounds in this track that one would initially expect to be cheesy, but instead because it feels so authentic it ends up working. Nice production on this track.

4 - possibly my favourite song on the album. Love this track. I need to download me some Hautle albums

5 - the synth on this one reminds me of Mark Mothersbaugh's soundtrack work. Seriously, this could be background music in an episode of Rugrats or Pee Wee's Playhouse (I mean that in a good way).

6 - my track wut wut

7 - another contender for my personal favourite. I like how all the background layers blur into a sort of warm ambiance behind the beat. Interesting how it seems to change quite a bit mid-way through. Missqulater is also on my "get stuff from" list now.

8 - Nice contrast between the Egyptian sounding melodic bits & those fast IDM clicky noises (you know what I mean right? The clicky noises)

9 - can't think of anything in particular for this one. Doesn't mean I dislike it, just that I haven't decided on something to harp on yet.

10 - Mitch Murder round two. You have this strange way of making all of those goofy 80s noises sound cool again

11 - this track really reminds me of NIN's "A Warm Place". Am I the only one hearing it? I think it's the reverb & the descending bassline.

12 - like the percussion here. This one also reminds me of something but I can't think of exactly what offhand.

13 - good use of the Megaman theme here. Actually I'm surprised at the relative lack of it in an immediately recognizable form on this album

14 - The acid line that comes in halfway through sounds like a little kid talking. I don't know much about acid lines but that's pretty slick.

^Crap, I knew I was forgetting something. I need to download that one pronto like.

edit - FIRST LISTEN

15 - Good to hear a track with vocals in it. I've always been of the belief that vocal tracks don't have nearly enough presence in the online electronic production community. Did you actually rap that fast? Because that's like racecar fast.

that's twista, who indeed DOES rap that fast

sneaksta, remember when you did a show in pat and judd's metal band right round the corner from pepe's at the lazer tag place. i think the band was either named after me or they were calling themselves malice? anyway, that was a fun night for me but i think you were fucked up. ahhhh, the teenage years. i sure miss it sometimes.

Gave this a listen last night, I like it, it's cute :) I like that it's not very long, I think that's a fault of a lot of compilations (*cough* intelligent toys *cough*), this doesn't over stay it's welcome, and more importantly none of the individual songs over stay their welcome either.

Thanks for including me, it's a comp I can be proud to be part of.

^I thought the same thing. Electronic music that slowly builds over several minutes is nice & all, but sometimes you just want things to get to it.

Selections from this was played on an Orlando Florida radio station last night. Thanks again everyone who participated.

lol, i had forgotten about that, but yeah, I remember now. What instrument was I playing? Did I sing? I honestly don't remember, how pathetic is that? Yeah, I did DXM that night.
