Guest Coalbucket PI
I'm talking about washing your nude bodies here guys. I currently employ up to four body cleaning products in a major shower session. This starts with the delightfully odd smelling Wright's Coal Tar Soap which has a certain clinical tang to it that makes me feel I've been cleaned by a burly disgruntled but stubbornly thorough NHS janitor. This I tend to focus on the problem areas; the pits, the feet, the undercarriage. The smell is clean but not in a human way, more like what a steam engine driver might have soaked his cap in after working a tough shift, which is why I move on to scented liquid style products at this stage. Since these tend to bluntly refuse to use the word 'soap' or really describe what they are intended to do, I tend to have a lack of faith in their ability to actually remove filth and stink from my carcas. However the perfume can be delightful and well-recieved. Nivea 'Happy Time' Cream Shower. Instantly I have issue with the phrase 'cream shower' as it in no way informs me of the function of the product. I bought this because it's called happy time which I think is frankly brilliant. Also it makes me smell of orange peel. Second I will apply Nivea Energy Shower Gel for Men. This has more of an eerie blue hue and smells nice and manly, sort of like how I imagine Dr Manhattan to smell when he's making crystal castles whilst stark bollock naked on the Moon. Finally I might sand down my visage with St Ives Facial Scrub. It has hard bits that hurt and something in it makes my face sting if I don't wash it off really quickly. Worth noting is that in my experience if the use of a basic bar soap is missed out of the process some underarm stench may remain, thus my doubt in the effectiveness of 'shower gel' and 'cream'. As a more simplified system a normal bar of soap can be sufficient. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/62926-exquisite-body-cleansing/ Share on other sites

Guest disparaissant
im all about cocoa butter body wash, keeps my skin nice and smooth like a baby's bottom. cheapo olay exfoliant washy stuff for the face i've tried out a lot of shampoos because i like my hair a lot but honestly nothing really seems to be any better or worse than cheapo tresemme stuff so i buy huge jugs of it and condition with dove colour protect stuff and top it all off with cocoa butter lotion that's got some shit in it that makes me look shinier than i am, i dunno. might have to look into that 220 gallon tub of shampoo though, the shit i buy would be like 3200 bucks for a 220 gallon tub so that's like massive savings! does it come with a pump? Guest Yegg
I use clay and charcoal facial soap with a horse hair brush for my face. This and also different sulfate-free shampoos and conditioner. Squee
3 different kind of soaps. One smells like Douglas Fir, one is with caffeine (fuck yeah!) and the last one is a peach shower gel. J3FF3R00
I get 1 or 2 of these a year. It costs something like $16-$18 for a bar but it is the size of 3 or 4 regular bars of soap and it smells amazing. I don't have any hair on my head, so I just use bar soap. This goes a long way for the cost. If you are ever in a fancy soap shop, ask for it. They sometimes sell smaller bars for something like $4. Guest fiznuthian
Alright so how much of this stuff actually works any better than the others? Seems like every body care product makes all kinds of bold claims about their product, yet all of them contain completely different ingredients.. Surely they are not equal, no? Guest Coalbucket PI
I used to buy Unilever stuff after they paid for my masters and I felt I ought to. Lynx shower gel is the worst though, it smells nice but I noticed I could still have BO after washing with it.
