i expected that too.. and i was actually kinda disappointed when that wasn't the case.

i can't imagine more matrix movies, unless they were prequels. everything was pretty much wrapped up in the third movie, no? unless it was all.. A DREAM?!

hahaha that is a pretty good Rambo post. I stopped reading after it seemed to be legitimizing why the fucked up 2&3 was just because of too high of expectations. All they had to do to make 2&3 really great was lay off all the poorly executed cheesy shit. I can totally imagine that Dezionized fad edit probably makes them dramatically less of a disappointment.

the wachowskis are absolutely fucking brilliant at their craft. fucking speed racer, the lens flares that were rendered shapes (hearts, diamonds, etc.), all the good bits from anime, cartoons, video games just like brian wilson gathering his pet sounds. the matrix wasn't as nuanced but it was pretty epic for the time. i live near a v. good 3D imax and i am eager to see what they put on the decks there
