The Roots "Things Fall Apart" was an amazing album.

Ya, I thought this was their best album. I think "How I Got Over" is a close second. For an album like that to come out in 2010 and get a good amount of sales is amazing to me.

I haven't heard the new one with John Legend just yet, but excluding that one I'd rate em like so:

Illadelph Halflife

Phrenology

Rising Down

Game Theory

Things Fall Apart

How I Got Over

The Tipping Point

Do You Want More!?!?

Organix

But they're all bloody good! The only real letdown in their discography is the live record, which is patently absurd! They're possibly the greatest live band I've ever seen in my life but that record in no way conveys how good they are. Neither does that Tipping Point era DVD, for that matter... You really just have to see them to believe how completely mindblowing they are on stage!

before i forget, since people are posting aton of stuff ive never heard,

can anyone recommend all time classic hiphop mixes? like, party get-down oldskool beats/scratching....im thinking something in the vein of that part in Coldcut's 70 Min. of Madness with the Queen Latifah remix and all that.
