Recommended Posts

fed up with not being able to turn off your solar powered calculator? annoyed at the needless calculation potential? then try this amazing hack:

hold down numbers 2 & 3 and press the on button. try it now, it really works.

my girlfriend helen would like to be thanked for this information. forgive me if this is something already known about but i've just had my mind blown.

Just so you know. It doesn't work with all solar powers. A lot of un-scientific ones don't do that.

:doge: Jet fuel can't melt dank memes :doge:

That's genuinely bugged me for years, but fuck me if it doesn't work on mine. Thank you for this information Helen.

"Helen's Theory"

...as it should be known from now on.

supposedly there's a bunch of different combinations, depending on the manufacturer.

hold down 2 and 3

hold down 5 and 6

hold down the Division and Multiplication buttons

hold down 9 and the Subtraction button

hold down 1, 2, 4, and 6

hold down 1, 3, 4, and 5

hold down 1, 2, 3

Yeah, these all check out as well, although the last three might tax the average hominid. I tried them on a Saturday night at home, alone, on the internet with my calculator by my side. Could there be a more persuasive argument for euthanasia than that?
