Autechre Autechre merch

1) Why is it so hard to find Autechre hoodies/shirts? Their artwork is so insanely epic, merch could be amazing...

2) Where can you find it?

if anyone remembers ambient soho, i bought a mu-ziq shirt there in '95 (which i still have) and they had a black Ae shirt at the time - gold lettering, nice.

around the time of EP7, there were free stickers in there (about 8 inches across) of which i still have two - the 'ae' logo in a thought bubble. also nice.

autechre shirts are available on bleep.com but at the moment they're all out of stock.

Are you sure? Because that was the first place I checked, and looking through the Autechre page, I can't find any merch...

when bleep run out of stock of merch, they remove the item from the website (at least with the tshirts, because there's likely to be only a limited stock of those anyways)

i am very sure, i have bought 4 or 5 autechre shirts from there

speaking of Autechre merch, did anybody end up getting one of those AUTECHRE posters made out of max/msp objects? I remember a guy came on here selling them but then people were complaining they didn't get theirs, could be having false memory honestly please somebody correct me if i'm wrong... either way i remember thinking they were neat

Make your own shirt. Its really really easy, and cheaper than bleep.

Sometimes when they're on tour you can buy shirts and stuff after the show.

en EP7 or oversteps (lol) shirt seems like the most obvious design that would actually look good if made cheaply, all those cafepress ones look kind of weak

I made some ae shirts for myself when I was about 17. they were really shitty though

Autechre are hardly one of my favourite bands (I do like them, but I'm not crazy about them), I don't use headphones, and here, a tube is considered the equivalent of a space rocket. I just like them, and have always been particularly fond of their art.
