Seems to be the project he talked about some time ago ! I'm kinda excited !!! Just discovered this guy's stuff recently but it's totally mind blowing. Oh and the tracklisting is cool too !

Yeah, was just about to post this- seems like a cool, slightly different concept for him. Really looking forward to it, some of my favorite things by him have sampled (Deheza) vocals. And Trish is on there! I wish Soundcloud wasn't blocked at my work, I'll have to check the sampler later.

Listened to Ampexian the other day, really a strange album but I like it more and more as time passes...

Hell yeah, the album sampler is very promising. The way he uses voice seems very interesting. And the all thing look more calm than his previous works (tho I didn't listen to the back catalogue in it's entirety), makes me think of Interregnums.

Aw god. Hope some "companion EP" will be announced as well !

This is sounding pretty good from the samples - I wasn't into 'ampexian' at all but this sounds a lot more like it.

As long as he lets the tracks play for more than a minute-and-a-half, I'll be happy - can't be doing with that ADHD style 30-track album nonsense, gives me headache.

Sounds like a creamer... I really lost interest in Prefuse when he started sample spamming to shit and the music became a jumble of spazzed out SFX

Sounds like he's had time to breath with this album, seems a lot fresher. Seems like it has as much space yet richness in samples as Susumu Yokota. Goodarse

It does scare me a little that there will be so many female vocals...hopefully they're all fucked and distorted and not too prominent. Otherwise it could get pretty monotonous, with the kind of vocals he's been into lately.

Samples sound interesting, we shall see.....

If it works (and if I had the slightest musical ability), I'd swap with him in a second. In all seriousness though, I'm really looking forward to this being released. I loved Ampexian from the start, and I'm imnpressed that he seems to have gone for what sounds like a drastic change of direction. Less impressed at the prospect of having to shell out for another Japanese CD though.
