Newspaper album?

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I've preordered the fuck out of this, whatever it actually is. And THAT is how to announce a new release, i.e. with one week's notice.

In Rainbows was announced 10 days to release, The King of Limbs is 5 days : )

Must say, I am >>VERY<<< excited to hear this.

Same here, I think the short timescale between announcement and release has done that for me. No time (hopefully) for leaks, mounting anticipation and possible disappointment or anticlimax.

n.b. I was so excited I temporarily forgot how to read a calendar.

Cool, but not a word about the music itself..

there's not much to talk about in regards to the music : P

the album was only just announced, with no tracklisting or audio samples. who knows what the record'll sound like without pure speculation!

it could be a more experimental record similar to the one off track

, or it could be a completely melody driven following on where In Rainbows left off (eg.
).

lolz, it could combine both and be a complete mess of a record!!!! who knows!! i want to hear it though!!

Although, I wouldn't class myself a Radiohead fan or having had followed them conciously, I think I'm going to pre-order the 'newspaper' package too. It sounds cool and should be a good keepsake even if I flitter about with the album like I did with In Rainbows.

i never bought something that blindly, hope its dark as fuck like the title and artwork suggest, like an album full of "i might be wrongs".

Also, I extremely rarely pay for music. And like I said, wouldn't class myself as a Radiohead fan. So bravo for this package because it piqued my interest instantly.

Awesome. Wish the vinyl wasn't so expensive - not paying £30 for something I have no clue about.

What the hell is a newspaper album tho?

I like all their recent releases so I am totally ok with buying it without previews.

i tried to preorder but after i clicked buy, it just kicked me back to the main page and says i have no valid orders. anyone else have any issues?

I wonder if there is going to be a leak before Saturday. Last time there wasn't right?

I had this too. Perhaps stupidly, I tried again and that was successful. I don't appear to have been billed twice...

Are people in this day and age incapable of waiting even five days for a new release? You kids would've died of impatience waiting for new releases when I were a lad, without internet and all that shit.
