yeah i've been redditing quite a bit lately and at first i thought the up/down system was pretty cool but now all i can see is how it's gamed and how everyone seems to be desperately fishing for the one comment that will bank them upvotes.

like, someone could post a link to the funniest thing humanity has yet witnessed and people would just circle it like vultures and try to think of a funny comment to post to get a piece of it instead of just openly appreciating the utter hilarity it.

a direct, personal lol from one human being to another is worth more than one million upvotes.
