me too. but since bands like pvt and foals have come out and developed the style with amazing results, i kinda expect a little more from the originator(s) of the sound.

I'm not a huge fan of this album as a whole. I like the poppy tracks but I was never able to get into the ones you are showing. I do love the album discipline.

Many cooler things have been done by hundreds of bands in the last 30 years... I'm aware of King Crimson, but I was commenting on the song. wth does King Crimson have to do with this?

A friend of mine said he heard from what sounds like an unreliable source who supposedly has a preview copy of it (hmmm...) that Gary Numan's vocals are put under so many effects that he's unrecognisable.

While I take that rumor with a grain of salt (maybe they're unrecognisable because he's actually listening to a fake, and it isn't even really Gary Numan singing...) it's very possible that any one of these vocalists could be twisted with quite a bit considering what Tyondai's vocals were treated like.

Got a promo of the album today and Numan's vocals, whilst not being super-high in the mix, only have some light reverb on them. Anyone with ears could tell it was him singing.

man the artwork for this really sucks. it's not even interesting in a minimal kind of way, just really boring!

I'd feel kinda bad trying to colour people's expectations so far in advance of release so I'm gonna take the fifth on this!

I'm sure it will leak soon if promos are out this early. what do record companies have to gain by keeping albums for so long after they are done?
