Most notable time I walked out of a movie was A Scanner Darkly and there was only 20 min. left to go. I just couldn't take another second of it, and i probabaly had to be to work too, but it was still shit.

The last time I remember walking out was Piranah 3D but that was more because my friend wanted to leave.

wow! asif A Scanner Darkly was walkoutable! definitely notable.

One of my favourite movies... dick :sup:

Never done it, but I really felt like it when I saw the star wars prequels and Peter Jacksons King Kong.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I walked out of Burton's Alice. I did so only to tell some employee to turn up the volume cause it was way quiet, but I didn't exactly hurry to get back inside if you know what I mean ... that movie was such a waste of potential ...

The volume thing happens almost every time in German cinemas, for Germany is the only country where it's become some kind of standard that commercials are always much louder than the film (3 dB, no kidding!), both on tv and in the theater, and they always adjust the volume down for the ads, and then they're too lazy to turn it back up, so I have to walk out and get someone cause nobody else ever does

It's in the uk too and it annoys me to no end. (on tv atleast, not sure about films)

in canada they are trying to regulate this, i think the crtc or something was going to pass some kinda shit that made sure volumes of commercial breaks and programming are the god damn same. i thought that was awesome.

obama signed something that is supposed to do just this to TV in the states in december. funny, i always figured only Americans were annoying enough to pull that shit

i still have to drive to the nearest fucking theater. drive there, wait for it to start, watch a bit, decide it's crap, drive home for a wasted afternoon??? fuck that, i'll see it through, waste another hour beyond the three i'd already lose.... and then just bash the shit out of it in conversations and on the internet. maybe spill my soda of the theater floor in lieu of a review

I walked out of Spider Man 3 and I do not regret it to this day... Casting Topher Grace as Venom was a big enough slap in the face to someone who loved the original black costume/ origin of venom story-arch and knew how badass Venom was supposed to be.. but when Peter Parker becoming corrupted by the suit and copping a bad attitude consisted of watching Toby McGuire sport an emo haircut and leather jacket and walk down the street making fruity pointing gestures while a James Brown Track played in the background was just too much... Me and my friend both agreed the movie was total shit, and walked out at that scene and instead rolled around town blasting music and smoking a blunt. I still have not ever watched the movie in entirety and do not plan to.

he paid for the ticket i was just there for the ride, and to both of our credit we were really high and just looking for something to kill a couple hours with...

Me and my gf wanted to watch Pratchett's The color of magic but couldn't sit to the end. Boy, did they ruin the humor of that book.

www.petergaber.com is where I keep my paintings. I used to have a kinky tumblr, but it exploded.

I walked out of "The Replacements". I got roped in to seeing it with some jock friends. Even they couldn't handle it.

Then we went to Hooters.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

walked out of a couple films, Got dragged along my some friends to see a Harry Potter film, figured I'd give it a chance but lasted about 30 mins before I was just fed up and walked out. walked out on Transformers 2 as well. I'd only gone because I wanted to see big bots and hear cool sounds, but the utter shiteness of the film hampered my enjoyment of even that.

went to see Tron the day it came out, I'd purposefully avoided any trailers, reviews, spoilers etc. Didn't want to go in with any preconceptions.

I was ready to walk out after the first 45 mins, but waited it out in the end. Kinda glad I did. Not because the film redeemed itself (was complete pants, the end is laughable).

Before the film started, the audience was all excited and full of anticipation, when the film finished and the credits rolled, the moment when people cheer and clap, nothing... Silence. As we filtered out of the cinema, quiet murmuring, most people walking with their shoulders slupmed and heads hanging, I think I heard some crying, felt like a funeral procession. Pretty hilarious experience.

Last film I saw at the cinema was Akira, one of the cinemas in town was doing a Japanese season. Seen it pleanty of times before, but at the cinema it was just incredible! Best cinema experience I've ever had. Same cinema also had a late night showing of Blade Runner a couple years back. That was also a brilliant experience.

I'm not much of a cinema goer tbh, it's too expensive, and almost feels like a gamble. Got a projector at home, prefer to watch films on that, doesn't cost and doesn't feel like a waste of money to turn it off half way through. If the Duke of York (good little Brighton cinema) is showing something I like, I'll go to that to experience it on the big screen. with films you know you love it's worth the cost.

I'd kill to see Akira or Blade Runner in a cinema. Seeing Tarkovsky's Solaris in a nice old cinema that plays classic films next week. Looking forward, since I've yet to see it.

The Shawshank Redemption

Pulp Fiction

Schindler's List

Inception

The Dark Knight

The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Fight Club

The Matrix

Toy Story 3

American Beauty
