I don't like to associate songs with people. But this one was actually the first song that both me and my German correspondent enjoyed when I was in Germany, so we played it on repeat during the whole afternoon, I know that's an interesting story, more to come during the following days.

When I was nine, I started at a new school that was at least an hour's drive from my home. On the school bus, there was this girl, about four years older than me, sitting on the other side. She was using a portable CD player, which I thought was pretty cool (advanced technology at the time, and everything). As the days went by, I started to fall in love with her, and I started sitting next to her. She used to let me listen to her music, sharing a pair of earphones, and this track in particular reminds me of those days.

You know, without her, I don't think I'd be as interested in music as I am today.
