I hate to say it, but this is just OK. I love the guy really, but the music is hit and miss, but it's over shadowed by how much i want to like the guy. I'll keep buying his stuff, but United Acid Emirates standards, it's not. I don't have any Weird Al albums and i don't like buying novelty shit.

bravo for "going there". didn't drop the big bucks on this particular vinyl from Andy. bought the download though.

and let it be knowneth, that i'm not applauding any depreciation of said knightly music, as it may seem. i'm instead applauding those who can confess of the "sameyness" this particular release exhibits, in general, making it not quite worth ordering a copy, in my opinion, i've already got his other releases ready to spin, and so on.

I think it's perfect, he's on top of his game. i've always enjoyed his live sets the most. and now he has merged it well with his studio output.

maybe a directon that some "old skool" fans don't appreciate?

only complaint i have is that acid line (from his live version) in russia is missing.

Can anyone back me up with this claim:

I love the track Russia, BUT it always sounds like its about to bust into a grander melody, something higher pitched to carry the track to the next level. I'm pretty sure it was played in a live set (Russia as the base, but with this additional melody) because I can HEAR it in my head. It makes the track frustrating to listen to.. knowing that melody in my head will not come to be. I would try to type out how it sounds, but that would not work, and I'm not about to record myself humming it..
