hey yes the info on YT videos says of Plaid and the music sounds very much like Plaid,,,,BUTTTTTTT why wouldnt the,,,the the inventor of this machine and the uploader of the original video on "vimeo" didnt mention Plaid? it made me have worries.

that felix man, he just wrote "Extract from composition: 'Glide' recorded and filmed at Gasworks winter 2008" glide he says. and Plaid official channel never mentioned any collaborative work as "glide".. ???

Felix such a nice guy, he's been touring with his instruments for a while now. He played in London with plaid the day before Bloc, so I didn't have enough time/money to see it.

I would have gone the other night but again too damn busy, I'm pleased he's getting recognised, he's a real gent.

those instruments are amazing!! i remember hearing a Plaid interview several years back where Ed was saying that the ideal thing when performing live would be to eventually get a whole bunch of robots or machines to somehow perform entire tracks for you at the click of a button...

so, they were destined to work with Felix it would seem!

Hello thread! those last two are from a setup he did here in my town. I think everything was hooked up to a mac,running logic if my memory serves me right. It did play that very first track posted in this thread. According to my exif data it was here in april 2009. The machines sat in a little free soundgallery for about a month, playing wonderfull music, I even took a picture of it/them. Here is my pic:

yeah i think they first collab'd in 2009.. 'Glide' being 1 of the tracks to come from it... i assume.

and the gig they did last week was their second collab, from what i've read (see the soundcheck video above for a sample of a tune). :)
