Not sure what you mean - works fine for me - make sure you're accepting cookies from the site.

 

It happens in image-heavy threads. It'll load to the latest post before loading all of the images, so when they appear they push the thread down quite considerably. Not sure if there's a delay that can be applied to the view latest post function..?

 

Are those who get this problem Firefox users? I've been seeing it since I switched from Chrome to FF. Wonder if there's anything I can do from my end to avoid it.

Switch back to Chrome

Hah, well I just bought a mac laptop and it doesn't seem to do it in the mac version of Chrome. Strange!

It didn't do it in the PC version for me either, but I'm fed up with Chrome in general and not going back. Still strange that this is the only board doing it, but no-one knows why.

I've got the same issue.

 

Also for some reason I can't embed youtube videos. Jasondonervan gave me clear instructions and it still just pops up as a link... Has this been happening to anyone else?

 

this is probably just a user error and I'm doing it wrong, I don't know lol.

As a test StephenG - see if you can cut & paste the youtube link with BBCode Mode turned off (the light switch icon in the top of the posting window which makes the text all nice and old school)

I'd love to see more backgrounds as well. Perhaps themes for all of our featured artists and some of the subforums, like a rephlex background or something.

 

Not sure if there are licensing hurdles to that.

I know that I have to logout if I don't want my mousewheel to be like scrolling through molasses

There is the classic WATMM theme you can change to.

I love the design of the current theme, it's just the backgrounds that I'm annoyed by.

Down the bottom of the page is the "change theme" button. Click it and you can get rid of the tomorrow's harvest theme. I'm using WATMM Classic (fluid width). Nice plain background.

I said all this because i wasn't sure from your post whether you aware of the button or not.

I too like the new theme but would really love it sans any background image (especially to stop the flicker every time it reloads another page). I remember one time it failed to load the background and was a solid black (I think) and it looked real nice.

can someone please re-cache the skins (?) to fix the problem with the classic fluid-width skin, pls.

Re-caching now, but I just did this the other day - there shouldn't be any reason why the skin is mis-behaving. I'll look into it.

All fixed now.
