The microhouse thread

This subgenre contains so many gems, yet I have so much more to discover. Unfortunately, there are so many generic singles out there. I have been disappointed a couple times, actually. The big names I have in mind are:

Farben's Textstar is a fantastic album, IMO. It has such a crisp/cool feeling. Feel like I'm driving through a city passing through tunnels and shit at night. Enough of that gay shit though.

The album Elektronische Musik - Interkontinental 2 is also fantastic. I love many of the tracks, but sadly I can't find my favorites on youtube. I'll upload tomorrow maybe.

Sorry to go off on a slight tangent but this track is definitely my favourite from the whole Katamari series. It's so out of place from every other track in the soundtrack but works perfectly in the context of the game as you're rolling up all the stars and planets in the universe.

Agreed. The whole game is extremely colorful and the music is booming and deliriously happy, and then all of a sudden you're in space with this very minimal track. So atmospheric I love those games so much.

Windows Live Movie Maker (The default? for Windows 7) is awful. I liked XP's Movie Maker. Took me 15 minutes to make a fucking song with a picture vs. 2 minutes.

The Katamari track sounds very inspired by Akufen but it's still very nice.

Lube Saibot: I'll looking into Stimming, I'm intrigued.

Green Kingdom: I own all these tracks on CD. I them very much although I wouldn't call all of them microhouse.

I have a mix from some Japanese dj named k456 - Thermion Mix, probably from 2003-04 back when xfade.jp was still around. I've always wanted to try and figure out a track list for it but don't really know anyone familiar enough with the genre. About the only track I recognize is Afuken - Quebec Nightclub.

Great track. I love the 2nd disc of 23 Seconds. Still never listened to the first one though.

I only have a couple of their 12"..the Dump Truck one and India in Me - both are class though!

I hear a lot of buzz about Isolee but I don't think he is very good, that We Are Monster album has about 3 good tracks.

I like Akufen and Minilogue a lot. Akufen's fabric mix is lovely and put me on to The Rip Off Artist who is very good and similar but I can't find any videos to post.

I'm not sure I know what microhouse is anyway.
