I'd rather have 3 101's than 1 303. I never imagined such a "simple" layout of synth could produce such a wide variety of analog sounds. Also lol @ every sh-101 vst emulation i've ever tried. Just plain lol. Also interface is one of the best ever, I never used sliders much before, mostly knobs for ages. Sliders are my new favorite thing. People always rave about their 101 but the 202 is a far more capable box, better form factor, same voice architecture, etc... Is it that y'all just haven't tried one? I've had them both. Yes, there are a few differences (LFO shapes for example) but overall the are the same synth. P.S. You clearly have something against the x0xb0x if you say something like you'd rather have three of the same mono synth. What's the point of that? How about an x0xb0x AND a 101....makes more sense. Well I didn't want to derail since this thread is about analog, but it's mainly b/c D16 Phoscyon is enough and even more for me, granted it's not the EXACT sound, I like 303 sounds drowned in fx so it's perfect and has a good interface. I don't have anything against the x0x, it's a fab synth. The 202 has neither of these features. The accent and switchable portamentos on the 202 are pretty cool too, though.
