even though it didn't really change my mind on that album, there was kind of an, "ohhh, i see..." moment.

that's kind of strange, since i know i heard it in 'numbers lucent'. unless this gives a more accurate timing for that EP.

yes, then he switched to nuendo. i got a good ol' LOL out of that. i thought nuendo had been completely eaten by cubase and wasn't being made any more...

Yeah, i was pretty surprised to hear he uses Vegas. That's what I started on, but the more intricate edits ended up being way too time consuming to continue using it as a practical means for making the music I wanted to make. It did however have a sweet shortcut for time-stretching that the subsequent programs I've used lack --just shift/drag whatever audio you're working with. I really do miss using time stretch as a creative tool. Maybe it's time to give Vegas another go.

What's up with that door? His studio is hardly acoustically sophisticated so I doubt he's got it around for anything other than decor.
