Good idea about reissuing other classic Warp as well.

they did this around 10 years ago. so maybe it's time they did it again...

On vinyl? Don't remember that, but then I am cracking on a bit now. It's about time Bleep updated their Warp catalogue, I remember a few years ago when they had a page of 'rare' Warp stuff.

There's always Laserdisc.

Haha, I'm probably one of ten people left in the world who actually watches them. My friend's dad was getting rid of his player/collection when he moved houses a few years ago so he gave them all to me, he kept them in perfect condition so they actually play pretty phenomenally and secondhand laserdiscs are dirt-cheap so I usually get old movies I'm looking for on that rather than DVD or vhs. I never would have gotten into it if I hadn't been given that stuff in the first place, but now that I have it why not make good use of it?

On the original point though, vinyl re-releases of BOC and Warp's back catalogue in general would be much appreciated. With even Campfire Headphase fetching over $80 and MHTRTC regularly over $100 (even the Twoism re-release is incredibly high these days), I doubt I will be adding any BOC to my collection anytime soon. At least I was able to snag a newer re-release of SAW 85-92 for less than $30 and picked up Autechre/Bibio's most recent releases right when they came out, but some older Warp releases would be fantastic ...

they should release the old tunes stuff as they were, on cassette with the homemade art ,everyone would be digging old stereos and walkmans out of the attic!post-9763-0-40835200-1306578483_thumb.jpeg

The ONLY time I ever remember seeing those things was in elementary school, containing educational material. The players were bigger than VCRs, and the discs were the same size as any vinyl. In summation, lol for a reference to the least practical use of disc space.
