I don't think watching something where I had to focus on a plot or humor would be much fun, but listening to music and just relaxing was fantastic. It was nice just being incapable of giving a fuck for a while.

come to think about it i remember listening to fsol's lifeforms album and it was pretty awesome.

I once had a tooth pulled and was given Loratabs. Accidentally took two, as I was in such pain that I made a silly mistake. Felt great for a while, then I passed out in my computer chair, drooling on my self.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

Had my lower left wisdom tooth pulled today. Not digging it.

I have hyrdocodone, but it makes me feel weird. My throat is a little closed up, but I can't tell if its due to allergies (mine have been bad recently) or a reaction to the codone (which it is a possible side effect). Almost time to take another codone, and I'm not sure if I want to... but I can feel the throbbing pain already...

It's going to be a shitty (next couple of) day(s).

it was annoying as shit for weeks in my experience

had mine out a few years ago, a few days after they were replaced i went to see hawksley workman in toronto. got a little drunk with the hydrocodone and i was doing pretty good. weed with the stuff made me just zone out/fall asleep.

i tried to focus on how people take pills for fun so i wouldn't notice the discomfort and the limited appetite.

pro tip - don't eat banana nut bread until your teeth are FULLY HEALED

Before I was put to sleep with gas, the dentist told me that if they dig too deep when extracting an upper molar they can basically poke a hole through to your sinus. Then when you take a drink, it'll shoot out your nose and it's a neat party trick.

I was totally awake for mine... just local anesthetic. He had me put my headphones on to drown out the sounds (HA!).

you got robbed. they knocked me out with something lovely. told me one was a real bastard, they didn't know if they were gonna get it out -- super-duper impacted. didn't hurt at all.

i remember hearing about DRY SOCKETS though, as if they were waiting behind a corner with a lead pipe, daring you to light up. while i certainly wouldn't touch it the day or three after, i don't think it's much of a risk as it sounds like. as soon as it's scabbed over and not a fresh wound, really.

Gah, I still have all mine (I'm 37), and I hope to hell I never have to have them out!

Dry socket is no joke. Had my wisdom teeth out (only had 3 for some reason) all at once. Everything went fine until I was asleep the first night. Was attacked by horrible throbbing pain that kept me up even after a couple hydrocodone and a few Tylenol PMs. Was a grueling couple of days until they could see me again. Basically what they did was dip a strip of cloth in some kind of nasty smelling/tasting medication that numbs it and helps with infection and jam it into the socket. I was fine after that.

i had 5 wisdom teeth, with an extra guy in the upper right. don't know what that says about the deformity of my skull but honestly having them removed was a pretty smooth procedure. my doctor even gave me a xanax before the operation, in addition to the gas.

these next few days will be hell though, for sure. not being able to eat normally is a huge pain. consider eating more shakes/smoothies.

the pills will become a lot more fun once you can smoke weed again. for me that was day 4 i think, but i took it slow. no bongs for at least a week, but i would hit pipes occasionally after a few days. opiates are much better when you're nice and stoned as well. see if you can get some light edibles maybe?

i barely remember if i was conscious for mine, they gave me some shit where i was awake, but couldn't feel anything and i was in some sort of cloudy abyss. i guess when the doctor was done he was like "ok that's all set" or something and i immediately tried to get up and walk out.

i guess it was funny

Pretty much this:

I had all four wisdom teeth out at once. One of the stitches fell out after a few hours after messing with it, but I still healed in about 2 days. And then I had plenty of vicodin to abuse. :sup:

I don't understand these people who walk around looking like a chipmunk for two weeks. Maybe I just had a good surgeon and they had shitty ones?

Lortab is the strongest hydrocodone/APAP combo available in the US if I'm not mistaken. I got Lortab for mine too.

When I got my wisdom teeth out I got rejected from the second study I tried because of my neck pain, but they had given me my prescriptions ahead of time, which I had filled beforehand as instructed. Once I actually got them out I had my generic hydrocodone plus the other doctor's prescribed Lortab and some huge ass ibuprofen. :whistling:

It was pretty sweet. That's when I learned how to use Renoise. Hydrocodone is the shit once you adjust to it. If you're like me though, don't take very many, and always eat and drink water.
