My friend once told me about a guy that was taking ecstasy (for a longer time, I suppose), and eventually he was unable to recall the things he read/learned the day before. Doctors discovered holes in his brain. I pretty much believe stories like this one should encourage people to stop taking drugs for good, or at least to be really careful when taking them.

He later became good friends with a friend of my friend who knows a guy who took bad acid once and still thinks he's a glass of orange juice and he's afraid to move because of spillage.

This is totally true, you can ask my friend.

Best of luck with your issues jules, sounds somewhat familiar and I too have noticed the positive effects of exercise, somewhat healthy meals and trying not to get too wound-up about small things.

pics or it didn't happen.

they're called olney's lesions and they're more commonly associated with long-term, extreme DXM or PCP abuse (although the DXM claim is controversial).

Guest hahathhat

i know. and f-o-t-w cited E as the cause.

you can certainly fuck yourself up with lots of E, but i don't think it causes olney's lesions. more medical hearsay on the internets

edit: regarding DXM, my understanding is it takes way more than even a hardcore druggie would take. not that DXM is terribly safe in the first place.

meant to say jules... my doc prescribed a couple of months worth of sedative anti-histamine tablets (just not non-drowsy allergy meds) to get some decent sleep without any worries about side effects or dependance.

i took them for a couple of weeks and got some quality sleep... then started forgetting to take them without the problems recurring... and was fine until now.
