so far in the tournament, abandoned soviet monuments has surged ahead against unflatable pony; it would take a miracle at this point to stop their powerhouse offense. whilst expendable cosmonauts have an early lead, the minecraft contingent are rooting for uninhabited islands; this is gonna be a close one and there's everything to play for. for the third year in a row, a watch that only you can read is showing a disappointing performance, but the fourth dimension is a tough opponent and everyone knew that going into the competition. underground lakes of dry ice on mars is displaying the sort of performance that got them to this level of competition - the dark horse foreigners, the german language, will have a fight on their hands here and they know it. quantum processors are ahead against robocop but this is one match where there's a real psychological element - it might be the case that just observing this one might alter the outcome! audio paradoxes seem to be [REDACTED] against [REDACTED], but who's to [REDACTED] on this [REDACTED]! strandbeest, ever the plucky outsider, is putting on a good performance against the logarithmic spiral, but the most beautiful shape in mathematics may have a late surge, it's very hard to say. and SPISH... well, what is there to say about SPISH? forever the bridesmaid, never the bride! going to tosche station is very much an unknown but there's everything to play for in this match. the theory that the higgs boson traveled back in time has a tough match against a watmm favourite, cheese, but no-one's ruling out the higgs boson travelling back in time to alter the outcome of that one (we're gonna have to consult the officials as to the legality of that one). philip k dick has been the testing ground of many, many IDM concepts, but julian assange's hair was a very popular team late in 2010, with a thread that seemed to just keep going and going. never agreeing on IDM and sun ra... well, these two are tied and it's bound to be a nail-biting finish on this one, no doubt about it. neutron stars seem to have a good 4/1 advantage, but this is another one where observation might influence the outcome more than we know. soviet space dogs seem to be in a clear lead against asexuality with their star player laika, whilst dew covered insects are beating aerogel, no matter how light on its feet it is. fluorescent mice turning in a glowing performance, regardless of egypt's revolutionary ideas, and a 1-dimensional universe showing they have more to them than just going in a straight line - agoraphobia showing some last-minute jitters here. factories at night topping pizza, and pi defeating homosexuals, against all rationality. teleportation winning against head transplanting, and ulillillia is a true people's favourite and ahead against reverse space lightning rods - but can he degrease that pizza over the line? mushrooms in a startling development seem to have a clear advantage against music that isn't IDM - perhaps there's only room for one out of this or 'never agreeing what is IDM' in this competition? nikolai tesla is one that everyone picked as a star from the start, but can he beat the old school team that is dinosaurs? the soviet cyborg seems to be initially kicking really cool architecure's ass - many have said RCA's tactics are a bit too close to those of abandoned soviet monuments. robot trees vs the tuss is still an unknown entity, both of these teams are dark horses. windows 95 showing some real old school charm in their battle against tactics that some have said are mechanistic by boxcar2d. transit maps vs not listening to IDM shows another surge for what some commentators have called the 'non-IDM IDM' movement, but will it last? does a rolling stone gather moss? it would definitely seem so in their contest against nice asses, whose sometimes explicit antics have drawn criticism from some corners. the old men of the tournament, exoskeleton for the elderly, seems to be ahead against the mostly improvised tactics of egyptian protestor hats - but only just! colossal squid representing the DSC league this year, in a straight tie at present with space stations - these two have had tight competitions in the past so there's everything to play for. industrial piping far ahead against boba fett - whose practices with regards to buying in players from the mos eisley team have been called mercenary more than once! stephen hawking at zero g and 3d glass paintings is another tight one, with many pundits predicting hawking will float above the competition, and finally we have girls with robots (who some commentators have praised for bringing the sexy back into most IDM) have a clear advantage against dune. do we have wormsign? clearly, we do not.
