Damn, Gina, do you really have the JH16s? Those are incredible but I can't ever get a proper ear mold and I'm sick of trying.

For portable I have Shure SE535s. They're fairly amazing, and not rolled off in the highs like older Shure models.

For home I run lossless through an Apogee Duet (the first gen) through some Sennheiser HD650s or Grado HF-2s.

I don't have the JH16s and am jealous about your sr16

The volume knob on the sr16 is so scratchy you can make everything sound kind of bit crushed. BEST $6 dollars I evar spent.

I can't believe I typed "you're".

I think these ear buds are giving me ear infections. I'm going to rethink using them. Luckily they were cheap.

I found out that my old CX300's were well past their best and the rubber had lost its firmess ages ago. Also the foot wear I had on greatly affected the booming sound when walking about so I went for some Soundmagic PL50's which are some of the cheapest balanced armature IEM out there and have a sound that's right up my street.

However I don't know if I'm getting paranoid but I had them in my basket on Amazon then the day later they went up a fiver so I bought them anyway thinking prices may still rise now they're back down to £39.99!!

This has happened with a times with business sellers now and I'm getting suspicious
