Mackie MR8 vs KRK Rockit8

Thank you people. im taking all of your suggestions into consideration. Also appreciate Adam's tip concerning headphones. I was already determined to get the Sennheiser. Checked the Shure SRH440, they look great, and i guess sound more accurate?

They have more details as far as I've heard. They are no doubt the most detailed headphones for the price. Don't know about acuracy. From the graph they look very similar except that 280s have more bass. I'm not sure if this is good because Shures have just the right amount of bass for me. Sometimes even too much. If you have a chance you should just audition them and choose which one you'll prefer.

i wouldn't mix with headphones, good or not.

Lots of people wouldn't. And of course it's better to mix with monitors but imo you can reach better results with headphones for 100 euros than with monitors for 100 euros.

i have a hard time composing/mixing with headphones. dunno what my problem is, i just hate doing it.
