vamos scorcho
with the advent of the newspaper album came waves of violent depression and emptiness the world is in darkness imo everything looks like a cold grey dead fish. people look like moldy, dead pears Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/66017-that-new-radiohead-album-like/page/2/#findComment-1578435 Share on other sites
vamos scorcho
I really liked KoL. I have great faith in Radiohead, as people even. I listened to it around 15 times in a row and since then I really haven't listened to it at all. I was joking somewhat in the above post, meta joking, or something. I was doing something impenetrable in the above post. However, I do think that KoL is too depressing. It seems like the state of the world is at it's worst ever during my own lifetime. And KoL doesn't do anything for me in terms of 'making it better.' It's seriously a downer. I feel like Radiohead are depressed themselves, more than ever, listening to it. So, Deerhoof and DVDs. I lol'd because I can see this objectively to be true but I happen to love his "whaling"--that is to say his voice and lyrics, not his acumen with the harpoon Reveal hidden contents grammar obsessive is obsessed. The correct answer is "listen to a man wail on for so long" PS come hang out in the music thread where it's really happening. Instead of suffering the public pain of an odd, what-is-this-I-don't-even thread in GenBan, you could have jumped into the 40+ page thread that already exists for this impenetrable piece. Contrary to the BBC's opinion, this album is quite penetrable Thank you sir. Wailing... Incidentally, I looked for a thread, but could not find. I recall searching the lyrics of that song for some sort of innuendo I could use when relaying the story, but came up empty handed... though that last sentence had two inadvertent ones. Yes, I believe he did, and yes I think that was in fact the line that was playing when I noticed it. I think that's the only time I've stumbled upon people fucking in public. Hopefully this will be a recurring new trend. Power to the people!
