Fucking multiplayer sadomasochism. It's the only game in my collection, out of the ones I have seriously tried, that I have not completed. I had not heard the term 'Platinum Relic' before I played this game, but boy if it ain't a PTSD trigger now.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Ninja Gaiden Black on the hardest difficulty setting. I ruined the bed springs in my old bed due to punching the crap out of it, but I did end up beating it. Hardest game I've ever played.
