very impressed by this update. got it working on 15" macbook pro (purchased last year) and it works an absolute charm. have already gotten used to fullscreen apps/multiple desktops.

it's amazing how the software has actually changed how i use the hardware.

@ the Apple definition of full-screen. Sometimes, not often, I can relate to the anti-apple sentiments. But then I use expose and I'm all happy again.

GUYS

I usually run the album art screen saver and now you can select and play the album from the screen saver. This is pretty good for breaking out of music ruts.

dragging apps in mission control to create new spaces is neat.

this is the problem with Macs. you have to update frequently to stay in the game. PC's are more forgiving in this area

Update frequently as in every 5 years for a new piece of hardware or update frequently as in pay 29 dollars for a new OS every 2 years?

I believe they are the same screen, as I personally cannot see a difference between them in the Apple store, but that might be the rumoured Reality Distortion Field™ all Apple products give off

I hope you mean in terms of keeping up with the current OS that's out and having the hardware to run it... even then, I don't think you're correct in that statement...

i mean that macs age faster due to the constant new and improved hardware and OS you feel you need to buy.
