Awesome. Its a great album, and I will listen to it again tonight. I picked up the 15 year anniversary re-release with the remix disc and John Peel session tracks on, definitely worth your money if you do not own this album already.

didnt know about this. going to acquire it STAT

20 years ago today Orbitals Green Album was released. The Orb's Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld was released on August 1st the same year.

mad respect.

this album and come to daddy were what got me into electronic music @ age 13.

my middle school band maskalyn did a track called "the only way to fly" which was just little fluffy clouds with matrix samples edited in.

Speaking of the Green Album, it was released in England in three formats, CD, Cassette, and Vinyl.

Each having a bonus track that the others lacked

Cassette: "Untitled"

Vinyl" "Macro Head"

CD "I Think It's Disgusting"

Does Anyone have these songs?

would love to hear.

I would assume since they aren't avail to purchase anywhere anymore sharing wouldn't be a huge deal? Joyrex?

Yes, they are still copyrighted works. Please don't share links/MP3s of the songs here.

YouTube might have clips of the songs though...

I think I have an mp3 of the untitled tape song, but it's really not that great. I can't remember what Macro Head sounds like but I know I hated it :P

I'm definitely more of an Orbital fan and Green Album has it's moments but overall I think I actually prefer Ultraworld.

Guest ruiagnelo

Definitely amongst my all time favorite musical acts. And my favorite record from The Orb as well.

Little fluffy clouds always sounds so sweet to my ears, at anytime. And Earth as well. Those are the ones i cherish the most.

But the whole thing is truly a masterpiece!

of the 3 exclusive tracks the cassette track is the one that does it for me. the CD cheats you a little w/ like half a song.

there's not choosing between Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld and Orbvs Terrarvm for me. Ultraworld just has more single song hits and Terrarum is more of an "as a whole" kind of thing. it's just a big mush of jelly, that one.

And I mean Oblivion; there's not a bad thing on there.

Talk whatever shit you'd like about Bicycles & Tricycles but you can't deny The Land of Green Ginger. I dare you to challenge that fucking bounce-fest!

I remember when I first heard this track at sea in the navy and just bought the tape from the ships store. I bought it because I loved the album title and when i read the track names I was like "I got to hear this!" at the time I was into house music, industrial, hip hop, etc. Well I was assigned paint duty with a couple of other dudes and I through this tape in... the dudes that were working with me were brothas. they were trippin' over little fluffly clouds... but when the beats dropped in "Supernova..." their heads started bobbin' and were like "This shit is aaight!"

My all time favorite Orb track!
