BCM if you don't need the laptop, get the 27" iMac...your pron will never look better :)

don't think i can stretch to the 27" unfortunately...would have to be the 21.5 inch, or a 13" MBP... i might be able to afford the better spec 21.5" model though, but not sure if it's really worth the extra £250 odd compared to the base model - all the performance tests come out pretty equal really from what i've read. even the difference between the 21.5" base Core i5 model and the top spec 27" Core i7 isn't that much.

Regardless of what you think of Apple or any preconceived notions about Steve Jobs, you can't argue the fact that the man has made a huge impact on the computer industry, as well as the music industry and has changed how we live our lives to a certain extent:

Helped usher in the era of the home PC

the iPod changed how we listen to music, and how music is distributed and bought now

the iPad has put portable computing power in the hands of many, and made even the most techno-phobic able to approach computing in a positive manner

I'm sure there are more, but the point is - this is a very influential human being, and will go down in history as one of the visionaries of this generation.

I hope him stepping down is not due to some realization he has no time left, and it's simply his way of handing over the baton before that time ultimately comes.

Tim Cook's shareholder meeting where he announces 'I'm thinking printers" gives me pause to think though - I was hoping the world was moving away (finally) from a world where things are phyisically printed...

I'm not against technology, but I prefere reading something in hard format/copy form than on a screen. Do I read things on a screen? Yes I do... but I still prefer the hard copy/format. Same goes with music.

And there's nothing wrong with that at all - I'd much rather have a choice to print something if I wanted a hardcopy instead of only having a hardcopy and then needing to make a digital version if I wanted it that way.

Still up in arms myself about physical music vs digital files - I just bought the Foster The People LP and got the digital version because I wanted it right away... didn't care one bit about the CD version!

*zing!

it's working

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

- lost cloud

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

-organized confused project

i guess it's true what they say, black clothing really does make you look thinner
