dunno if he sells his machines, but I think this is the same guy a few classmates of mine visited a few years ago, he wanted us to submit compositions (in midi files) his machines could play.

I would ask Richard if he wanted to start an Acid Club and a study group. "Will you help me with my midi compositions?" "Your studio is probably the most appropriate place to study acoustics, eh?"

I actually find Kid A an Amnesiac a very good first try in EM for a rock band. Some of the tracks are really good.
