Aliens: Colonial Marines

Yes, looked like it was a rail shooter. Also, at points I was under the impression the Doom3 engine was underneath it all. What? They might as well remake Doom3, but with aliens and a movement detector.

that was the plan, but they didn't get a chance to. the explosion at the end of the film was from the nuclear reactor that got ruptured in the beginning when the troops were ordered not to fire while investigating the nest.

this is a sequel of "Aliens" and it looks like they did a great job.

i echo the sentiments of many in this thread when i say i am way more than a fan. Aliens is my all time favorite movie. i've easily seen it about 50 times. looking forward to this.

nah man i got a radeon mobility 4200 its crap. barely runs anything and it wont let me allocate more than 256mb ram for gfx

i mean it might RUN but its not gonna look good or run at a decent framerate

is what explained? the explosion from the reactor is explained in the movie. (Aliens, the movie that it happened in.) i got all this from memory.

the atmosphere processor blowing up was explained in the film by the first Dropship crashing into it.

What they did in resurrection and the avp series are the most obvious ones. The ones from books that I remember facepalming at the most were flying ones and ones what would curl up in a ball and roll. (wtf?)

I had so many of those, even though I was just old enough to think it was silly that I was collecting action figures. But how could you not buy them? The commercials were like: SEND IN THE MARINES!! THE SPACE MARINES!! and you had to comply.

The Power Loader toy was pretty much the most awesome thing.

I'd pick up pens and shit and harass my mom by asking her "WHERE DO YOU WANT IT" and she'd be all, "LOL, GO TO YOUR ROOM, PLEASE"
