I never knew Slayer released a vinyl boxset! Discogs dictates I will be a few quid poorer in the not too distant future. Sadly it doesn't include Hell Awaits nor Show no Mercy, my favs from them Yeah, but it has the God Hates Us All LP. That well makes up for it, if you ask me. The two 2cd volumes of Lullibies to Violaine cover almost the exact same material for far cheaper. I think it covers pretty much the exact same material. those are the ones I have and I absolutely love them !! another vote for the deathprod boxset, that thing is absolutely amazing. I think it covers pretty much the exact same material. those are the ones I have and I absolutely love them !! Pretty much. I think I paid around £30 when the EP boxset was released about 20 years ago, but there seem to be a few reasonably priced sets on discogs. It was nice at the time to have all of those singles on handy CDs to replace and preserve my vinyls. The Lullabies to Violaine set iirc was remastered and does sound much stronger (not heard it to compare for a few years though as it's still in storage). The four CD set comes in a lovely textured slip case and sounds much better than the individual EP reissues and also covers their Fontana releases (which I've never cared for) if you want them. There were also two 2-CD versions released split between the 4AD and Fontana stuff (sorry if is just telling folk what they already know).
