Finally got around to biokinetics 2 years ago, good shit! I love that it sounds so very classic Chain Reaction yet quite different from BC, Monolake, etc. Gots to check out that Various Artists release (T++ is the man), thanks for the reminder. If you haven't already, definitely check out 8, 8.5, 9 / Remixes - the originals are great and then the remixes (peep the lineup of remixers) absolutely slay.

edit: now that I think about it, everyone loves Basic Channel. they are hardly underappreciated, although I suppose it's a matter of being in the right circles.

Oh fuck yes - this is one of my all-time favourite songs. Needs BIG speakers though, not these tinny laptop speakers I'm on currently.

Yeah I agree.. gotta have a nice system & a real copy - not this crumby youtube. Do you know of any other Stefan Betke songs that rock this hard?

I kind of stopped following him after Pole 2. but Tanzen is so mental, it really seems like a disco tune from outer space. I wish all of his songs were this catchy... he really took the minimal german sound in a cool direction & seems to be forgotten these days.

Thought the Waldgesichten singles that came out a couple of years ago were nice and more like the 1,2,3 albums. Pole is great.
