Lego Feet - Ska001cd

Format: Digital Download

1. Lego Feet : Part 1 19:40 £2.00

2. Lego Feet : Part 2 17:18 £1.70

3. Lego Feet : Part 3 21:44 £2.50

4. Lego Feet : Part 4 15:02 £1.70

The semi-mythical debut on Skam by Lego Feet is widely known to have been the work of Autechre and is now 20 (!!!) years old. The label at long last do the right thing and have made an extended digital edition available, clocking in at over 70 minutes (the vinyl edition was half that length) and featuring some of Autechre's most direct electro productions. If you're not familiar with this killer set - you're in for a proprt treat.

The typo at the end - proprt - is left as written as well as "long last do the right thing."

Something tells me that not enough time was put into this effort.

I'm hoping the music will make up for this.

i purchased it earlier this morning no probs, a pleasant surprise to start off the week!

I bought it a few hours ago...

Edit: Yeah, the buying option is gone now. Guess Boomkat jumped the gun and Skam sent an angry email. It'll be available in three days now. Weird.

Not even mentioned on the Skam website. Guess I will have to wait until thursday then, never heard these before.

*edit*

Also the catalogue code is ska001cd - perhaps it will be a CD release too and not just digital?

makes sense they pulled it from sale then. they (Skam) got a tonne of CD's they want to shift! (via Skam shop)

odd how that's gonna take 3 days to sort out, tho.

lucky mother's who got the downlows early!

i got it last night too. it's pretty decent thus far, definitely along the same vein. not quite as 8-bit-y as the original two tracks were in places. i'm curious to know if these were actually made at the same time. it's certainly possible, but it seems like maybe not.

that's what i was thinking..

if it was all made at the same time then why wasn't it released then?

holy shit this is great, 70 minutes of Lego Feet, amazing! now if only AE would be as generous and put out the Glasgow, LA and Melbourne sets from their last 3 tours as digital exclusives
