The semi-mythical debut on Skam by Lego Feet is widely known to have been the work of Autechre and is now 20 (!!!) years old. The label at long last do the right thing and have made an extended digital edition available, clocking in at over 70 minutes (the vinyl edition was half that length) and featuring some of Autechre's most direct electro productions. If you're not familiar with this killer set - you're in for a proprt treat.

The typo at the end - proprt - is left as written as well as "long last do the right thing."

Something tells me that not enough time was put into this effort.

I'm hoping the music will make up for this.

well, i had to get it. dunno why i got the flac, as old/low quality as this stuff is, but i did.

Thanks for the head's up! So glad I didn't drop a ton of $ on the 12" when I had the chance.

Wow, the audio quality is great on this! It's definitely sourced from the original tapes. The new material is also very worthwhile!

Tracks that are a few minutes longer being more expensive...

Anyway, I have never listened to the original Lego Feet, I will do now.

i got it last night too. it's pretty decent thus far, definitely along the same vein. not quite as 8-bit-y as the original two tracks were in places. i'm curious to know if these were actually made at the same time. it's certainly possible, but it seems like maybe not.
