When to start shaving

As of now I'm saving for a santa beard and when someone tells me I'd better shave, I'll tell them about the history of shaving and how it's a cultural thing that has developed through years of not being busy with survival, so that suddenly we have the time to care about it, instead of just getting the occasional stone age sex mood on - inbetween testosteronial protection of our relatives - and could-not-care-less-about-hair fuck one another in order to pass our genes on.

meaning that it is definitely sexual, and the choice to shave is yours for sure, but only within the given frame of what fits and what don't, in society.
