i imagine it's because the recent burial vinyl releases have all been terrible (quality wise, not musically) and kode 9 wants to get this one right. better to have it sounding as it should, rather than another nasty vinyl press that ruins the music.

Probably has to convince Burial not to switch to a new label, too.
