Dead Bees on a Cake was a favorite album of mine for a while. I probably listened to that more than any other album during my first year of college. I haven't listened to it in years... have a feeling I might find it kind of cheesy now. Blemish was another album I really fell in love with. It's like David Sylvian's take on Jandek.

The two albums he did with Holger Czukay are awesome. Drifty, ambient stuff. I'd say his best instrumental album is Alchemy, which features Holger Czukay, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Robert Fripp and Jon Hassell. Jungle cruise vibes.

i enjoy everything instrumental from him and quite a bit of his vocal works. though, i am more for his instrumental musics personally. he's not been working on many of those in recent years, more with voice? has anyone here had 'when loud weather buffeted naoshima'?
