I once dreamt I was snorting cocaine. I wasn't interested in cocaine at all, but anyway this dream happened (I have never tried cocaine). I felt a huge wave of energy when I snorted it, then the phone rang and I woke up. It was 2am. The call was from my 'trip buddy'. He said : "yo I've been to a club, snorted cocaine, and now I'm kinda lost. I'd like to go home, but can't manage to find my way back. Could you do a search on google map or something ?". It was his first and last cocaine trip ever.

I think my favorite drug is marijuana. Actually my favorite drug is probably LSA : I love it for this extra/ultra-lucid feeling it gives you (someone told me it's what's really special about it, as compared to LSD). But on a rather "professional level", marijuana tops it : this drug has the propensity to increase my synaesthesiae like no other. I don't really care about seeing music more vividly, but being able to see abstract concepts better is really cool. I stopped smoking this autumn (I dragged a couple hits on a joint during new years eve though). But I did smoke a joint "professionally" like 3 weeks ago. I have to make a website for school, so I decided to smoke a joint to enhance my creative skills during the brainstorming/conception/diagramming stage of the project. And it worked (we're now heading towards the creation of a basic online tool to allow the "content masters" to create pages easily, a sort of dream weaver power -100) !

What's great is that I only need a ridiculous amount of hash to get stoned. 1/10th of what you normally put in a joint is still too much for me. Of course I still had these "huh, what was I thinking about already ?" moments. But really, I'd like to find some way to increase my creativity or ability to visualize things without getting stoned or high. Any tips ?

i stopped smoking weed in january 2011 after 10+ years of daily smoking, in the following months i dreamed a few times about it. one time i dreamed of smoking and felt kind of stoned, it was not very detailed but it was there. told myself in the dream something like "damn, you didnt wanted to smoke" and woke up.

and how are you doing these days? anything good happened?

absolutely, should have stopped way earlier. the first months were hard sometimes, life felt quite boring and dry, on the other hand mental stability and general mood increased bit by bit. i just finished university with surprisingly good results (one last oral exam at the end of this month) and in the middle of march im off to asia for at least three months.

Basically the reasons I smoke Marijuana as well, and also the reasons I want to try lsa.

I wish I could find some people that weren't so boring to smoke with. I always want to do more than watch Family Guy or listen to the Beatles. In fact, those are some of the last things I want to do stoned.

And no, no tips. I was hoping Kava would sort of be what you were looking for, but it isn't.

I realize this is not exactly the topic of the thread but I wanted to share something and see if anyone has had similar effects..

Because I mixed LSD or 2ci/2ce with beer and weed a few too many times...

If I smoke weed or drink too much beer on it's own I can control some very powerful visuals...

I can make the roof turn all shades of pink and green and start shifting, flowing, melting, etc.

If I focus hard enough I can also force white light to separate into different bandwidths and I essentially can see a rainbow across the roof...

It is quite pleasant.

If I've had a hard week I tend to do this at the end of the week and it brings me almost to synesthesia. After my experience is over I feel as if I've had a very meaningful experience and I feel very tired and drained, but at peace. When I wake up my perspective on things is completely reset.

nobody? :(

i'll admit that some of the earlier episodes had their moments but the recent shit...holy christ. it's actually sort of scary how painfully hard it fails.

haven't seen any new ones..

Apparently Seth McFarlane is producing the next generation of The Flinstones?

hahaha i'd like to see him rely on cheap pop culture references in a show set in the stone age.

i'll be he'll do it anyway though. all aboard the fail train.

in case you haven't seen any of the new family guy episodes, let me sum it up for you

-> plots which are even more stupid, generally there as a backbone to the HILARIOUS "remember that time that..." jokes

-> over reliance on the creepy old guy, who was never funny in the first place

-> cutaway jokes barely even make sense any more. it's like they're just throwing shit at the wall and hoping it scores a laugh

not sure if this is from an old or new episode but this makes me laugh

old one! but that is pretty funny lol.

Yea, the newer ones are brutal. Can't stand the musical numbers either. Weird thing is, I enjoy American Dad. I actually stayed up late watching an episode yesterday. Who'da thunk it?

The thing that bums me out about Family Guy is that it's on like, 4 or more channels, and it's generally Adult Swim's top rated show, AND it's on every god damn night.

Stephen, in regards to your weird-ass splitting beams apart and shit, I can't do that. But, I have pretty clear synesthesia whenever I get stoned. Thoughts, sounds, and tastes produce patterns which in turn produce more thoughts sounds and tastes in my head. So thoughts make melodies and such. Pretty fun stuff. I have a mild synesthesia to begin with though.

Edit: "-> over reliance on the creepy old guy, who was never funny in the first place"

Yea man, they should never have produced plotlines around him. Should've been a one-time character. I hate that old guy. Kids back in highschool were always doing bad impressions of him.

Man, why do people love Family Guy so much?

I'm glad someone else gets the synesthesia....

I'm wondering if my tendency to mix the weed/beer with hallucinogens in the past has set off some sort of chemical change in my brain... because now I get the hallucinations just from beer or weed alone, almost like my brain thinks I dosed a hallucinogen? I wonder if anyone else has documented this... Fairly strong too, not just a little bit...

I happened to smoke some iso/hashoil one time recently and I was able to change my depth perception on command, almost like doing mushrooms? I could look down a hallway and bring the door at the end of it to the front of my vision..

Personally I think it's a gift. I don't leave the experience any worse for wear.. (I think...)

the shit you're describing sounds like this:

weed tends to bring it out a lot more. some things are difficult to unsee if they're profound enough.

Interesting, that sounds spot on to me.

Also I'm on lorazepam/ativan for my anxiety.... so it all kind of fits.

I like it though =(

Water?

I drink like 3 to 4 liters a day (mainly sparkling water), doc tells me it's an addiction if you start drinking more than that

on workout days I'm up to 5 liters :(

Basically once you exceed the amount you need, it actually causes damage to your internal organs. I believe it raises the incidence of cancer (I read about this somewhere, can't remember where) and increases oxidation?

Too much water messes with your electrolytes and can be fatal.

Yes that too! Once you reach dangerously low levels of certain amines, your blood cells literally implode. The electrolytes provide the surface tension for the cells, once it's too low, it can't hold it's form...

At least that's my understanding of it.

Regarding http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hallucinogen_persisting_perception_disorder :

I've always experienced that "visual snow" thing when looking at the sky, and when I was a kid I saw very intense "shifting visuals" in the dark. They would morph into cartoon characters (usually transformers) that I could interact with, ie. I could hold them in my hand and they would retain their apparent physical form.
