Hell yeah. New brutality as well. Nice to hear Nathan Explosion expanding his vocal range on this one.

Started the 3rd season of Righteous Gemstones and even though I enjoyed the first two seasons, I’m not sure I care about what happens from here on out.

Admittedly, I was in something of a mood when I started it last Sunday but I just had this total sensation of not being up for it. Some hilarious comedy has come out of this show though--I'll take another look I'm sure.

when through bitter life experience and bad trips you gradually develop a scaly crust of cynicism, a hair-trigger of insanity and paranoia, a burden of crushed dreams - then and only then, will you be a true wattmer.

Just finished season one of Fargo (I know, just a tad late).

I can't help but think that the part in the finale where Gus pulls tacos from his mail bag was an homage to the "taco mailman" sketch from MTV's The State.

Loch Henry, Joan is Awful and Demon 79 were all decent telly.

Loved the first 2 - not watched the last yet.. but holy shit "Mazie Day" was really bad. Rushed, zero dark-near-future-tech stuff and no-point-whatsoever plot with a terrible ending... I thought the first 2 were setting up every-episode-is-about-streamberry but nope. I liked the Arran Paul one until the end despite the female character being alfully 2D... they messed up the end altogther I reckon. I don;t mind it being super-dark but .. at the expense of logic?

In short - starts off strong, 2 clangers... will watch the last one soon as its got good reviews

still haven't watched this. for whatever reason, i don't remember any of the other episodes. i think they have mostly been meh- especially the one with a the husband who let's his co-worker use his robot avatar only to end up getting cucked. that episode was clearly based on anyone that uses bitchute

I’m about 4 episodes into this new Fukushima show on Netflix. It’s pretty good but feels a bit low budget at times. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe it’s the cinematography or the editing. I don’t know. Still, it’s watchable, has pretty good acting and is obviously about some heavy stuff.

might watch this next. thanks

loved season 2. can't wait for a 3rd. i wish amazon would throw about 10th of 'the rings of power' budget into this show instead

i WATCHED sleeping dog on netflix

it was good except the end was shit and the acting was terrible and the female cop was a totally pointless role and and and

The Bear season 2. I love this show. The "Christmas" episode is one of the most intense and uncomfortable things I've seen on tv. Great stuff.

It got bad, then sorta good again, then really bad, and now it's still bad and I think I still have like 4 more seasons to go? :catsuicide:

Halfway through Season 30 and I am throwing in the towel. Can't do any more. I really wanted to be able to see it through til the end but yeah, that's just how bad it is.  [Simpsons]

looking forward to watching the new season.  Feel like I am waiting til I'm in the right mood for it tho.

Finished From Season 2. Definitely a show that I need to remember (in two years or whenever tf s3 drops) to just wait until the end to binge. Felt this season had a looooooot of padding which binging helps with, but no amount of binge can make up for stuff that just feels poorly paced. Part of that is introducing a ton of new characters - it means you don't spend enough time consistently with any core group of characters to establish a bond/cohesion.

I still love the show, still find it extremely entertaining, but if I had to watch it week to week I'd hate it. I still have hopes they can reign it in for S3 - this season felt like they were playing with adding new things in to try and stretch it out, but what they really need to do is go in laser focused on executing compelling TV. Ofc everyone wants their show to run for 13 seasons, but sometimes it's better to commit to 5 and gtfo.

Spoilers for anyone who hasn't gotten to the ending.

absolutely surreal this show is still going... yeah don't torture yourself watching bad tv. I've tried watching Simpsons a few times probably over the past 15 years, and didn't last more than a few minutes. just can't do it. even some of the '90s classics have lost some of their appeal at this point. although the Halloween specials still hit hard on the nostalgia factor.

I wanted to do it like research I guess, since yes indeed it really is baffling that they are still going. It actually seems like it's entirely an act of defiance at this point. It's just garbage television, only using beloved characters from long ago... major cognitive dissonance watching this shit.

Also by s29 or so Julie Kavner's voice has aged noticeably so Marge sounds different and it's just weird. Don't these people have enough money yet?

'From' S2 was all filler. Don't think I'll watch a third.

Binged the first season of 'Silo', it's good. Hoping for a second season although I don't see where it can go from here and still be good.

What's watmm opinion on Love Death & Robots on Netflix? It has been on 'my list' for years and years.

It's quite good and a very quick and easy watch. Just pop a couple of episodes and see if it's your thing.

mixed bag but yeah, would def recommend.

episodes range from 'really good' to 'meh' but due to the runtimes nothing is unwatchable.

this was a harder watch than I anticipated. There's quite a bit of footage of the kids from when they were under the control of this guy, and its tough to watch, the change in personality they exhibit is so drastic it seems unreal.
