Skyrim is affecting my life.

Ever since I have immersed myself in the world of Skyrim, I find myself going to open air farmer's markets to buy things like whole fish, sides of beef, sacks of potatoes and other raw ingredients so that I can make stews that require at least an entire day and overnight to cook. this weekend, I built a fire in my back yard and roasted some small game hens and served them on pieces of wood and asked my guests to please refrain from using silverware. we drank brandywine (closest thing I can stomach to mead) and ale. On Christmas day I went to a friends house who has a sauna. We sauna'ed in the nude and then jumped into his freezing pool and spoke to each other in thick, exaggerated Scandinavian accents. then we made love. now im depressed. the end.

Sounds like a great holiday weekend. I did go out into the garden and dig through the snow to get some fresh carrots yesterday. But you went all out.

I got Skyrim for Christmas. haven't played it yet... PS3 version unfortunately as I have a new(ish) Mac and haven't Bootcamped this one yet...

I dunno if I'll be that into it. I was well into WoW but although I still play reasonably regularly, I have cooled on it somewhat...as Skyrim seems pretty similar in many respects I don't know if it will all just feel like fantasy overkill...

I'm kind of addicted as well. My only regret is that the map is not as huge as Morrowind one. That might be a good thing though

Yeah I mean, Skyrim is so expansive I don't find it at all shocking that you acted out all of the above in-game, except the raping your friend part.

Although you did say (closest thing I can stomach to mead), therefore I'm 99% certain you mean you did all of this in real life. If so, you are definetly trying to live the life of Skyrim in the real world, and as a result you will learn magic powers and live much healthier, longer and happier than all of us so keep up the good work.

im confused

got the ps3 version on christmas day, played it for 4 hours on boxing day. Already level 6 and completed 5 quests. Great stuff!
