Meshuggah - new album

For those few of you interested, Meshuggah has via their website stated that the new record is done and out march 27th.

At first I wasn't sure what to think of it, I mean, they're an amazing band, but I'm not all that into harder metal these days, but when I read this I was absolutely sold.

"Soon you will meet this colossus

Fucking hell.

Love these guys, along with opeth and carbon based lifeforms they're one of the best bands to come out of this shitty country.

This band has always been on my radar of things to delve into and gain a deeper appreciation of. They seem like a mindfuck.

I didn't realize Tomas wrote most of the lyrics --no wonder Neil Peart is the first drummer he mentions as an influence.
