Yeah thats the point. The multitasking bar switches between apps but ios manages the multitasking. You can force quit apps yourself if you dont want them running but you do not need to free ram youself.

switched to lion without experiencing any real problems. some old applications - non-intel applications - dont work and i still prefer the old expose over the current mixture of expose and spaces. but switching to lion has been a non-issue.

 

icloud is especially handy if you have multiple i-devices. synching over the cloud works like a charm.
