Indeed. A french electronic producer told me that a few years ago, he plus a bunch of friends gave some demos to David Guetta - who already owned several big clubs in Paris. Guetta never gave them any answers but stole the tracks. Perfect asshole, plus he's french

Guetta is a piece of shit. I really can't accept the idea he is the french music for a lot of people (I've heard things like "oh, you're french ! you know, I looooove David Guetta" too much times).

Because i'm not a sell out. DJs like David Guetta have dark souls and warped minds, nobody respects them. I would rather have a fan come to me and say my music is awsome than take a million pound paycheck and play shit mainstream music to a bunch of coked up robots.

I didn't even know Guetta was french, I thought he was dutch. Even if I did, I'd always associate french music more with the likes of Gainsbourg, Air, Phoenix and Daft Punk anyway. Guetta is just a jet-set figure, it's frustrating that so many talented DJ's have to struggle while he's doing what he does (even if he did actually DJ).

Well yeah, what a noble response. But to be honest: If I get the chance to get so popular and rich, I would probably do it. Even if it means playing shit music or producing shit. I mean, I get so much money from a few years, that I can do whatever I want after that. I know that statement was not noble at all, maybe it even was unethical. But well. I just wanted to say.
