But, still doesn't make it not kick ass...

Looking at it with the Aphex goggles on definitely makes a lot of Analord similarities stand out.

I still like it though. Not really feeling track 3 as much as the other ones.

edit: I'd say both 1 and 2 sound like Redlof. Track 1 also starts sounding like Rushup Edge around 2:00... just listen to 2:23.

I don't care what it sounds like, rot13 is good.

I am bumping this just because I'm shocked nobody knows who this is. 'Specially when you look at how much 'is this AFX?!?!' has been lumped on to people who sound little to nothing like him..

I really like track 4 off this ep, the production is very well done and the sounds are nice and full.

wow, it sooooo fucking does.

it doesn't sound unique enough from analord for me to really find serious musicmaking merit in it. sounds a bit like the acid trend that came back when the analord series started coming out.

Actually, he's got a blog about sound design, where he tried to make a post a day, but it lasted 3 months. Last december, he posted a sound bundle, with all the experiments he did during 2011. Thing is : he uploaded it on Megaupload :( I have sent him a mail cause i didn't download it. I'll keep you informed...

actually KY I am diverging the other way now. I don't think this is a really fair comparison to analord, it's much more poppy & based on traditional pop tonalities. analord was a pretty leftfield series all around. call me a milquetoast all you want but this is more suitable to my palette
