aww man that album is awesome. Probably a sign that I'm not "down with the kids" or anything but imo it shines like a beacon of hope through the cloudy dirge that has become mu. that's all I meant, that maybe 5 - 10 years ago there was so much more music about that appealed to my sensibilities in the way Ceephax stuff does, but now there is slim comparatively slim pickings.

for what it's worth, I do totally agree with you. I'd much rather hear something original from them, than something borrowing synth lines from Tuss tracks. But I also just enjoy hearing the sounds of bouncy out of tune vintage synths, regardless of the notes they're playing.

So has anyone got a copy of ROT13's - Volume 1 ( http://meganeural.com/mnf002/ ) as the copy on meganeural just leads to a good ol' 404 error, and I'd love to hear a full quality version of the EP....

you should've just posted a link to the analord series on rephlex dot commie.

as i said elsewhere, it's really well made, but the melodies are almost note for note from other tracks... to the point where it's more of a remix/cover album than something new and original... it does sound good, but... it goes a little too far without giving credit.

Such high quality production and of course, almost direct copying of some analord melodies... but who the fuck cares, amirite?

Its the only thing I'd ever consider that might be a few lost tracks from him.

Track 1 is totally isoprophlex 2.0

Track 2 is an analord 2 or 6 homage

Track 3 is a pure SAW homage

Track 4 takes Redlof's bass and merges it with tuss drum programming/gating fuckery

No name artist, on a small label, no other releases and no credit to a name...
