The polygon window project has a very particular taste, i can't find words to describe the aura of that album.

No. They are plenty of tracks to listen carefuly but a 2012/2013 series of ep's like analord or an album with nice melodies would be great.

Out of all his albums, this was the one I liked the least when I first heard it, and the one I like the most now. Actually reading this has made me go and find it and put it on the record player.

Same for me.

I wouldn't say it's my favorite but it has been steadily rising since beginning of last year and I have had it for a decade. I'd play it twice a year just to confirm I never liked it that much then 12 months ago it just clicked with me. That's one of the reasons why Aphex and especially Autechre etc are so damn good.

Supremacy II

UT1 - Dot

untitled (the acid jam)

Quino - Phec

Four awesome tracks. the rest are good and all but those four. UT1 - Dot i just love that shit.

백호야~~~항상에 사랑할거예요.나의 아들.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Great album! I even prefer it over ICBYD and RDJ. If I ever get the chance, I'll lock Richy in his vault until he digs up a collection of DAT's with the material for a follow up polygon window album.

Also, WARP should release an AI anniversary series where the original artists expand on their AI-related works. It'll create a shit storm in the Black Dog camp, but whatever.

OK, that's just silly. But it's lovely to dream about.

this would be interesting, and good, but will never happen. i don't see the problem with Black Dog, though, aslong as they stick to their original pseudonyms, of I.A.O, Balil, Atypic, Close Up Over, etc.

i'd love to see/hear a new reworked/extended remixed version of 'Parasight' by Balil, and the Plaid/Atypic/Balil tracks off Bytes.

Astleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The two extra tracks added to the reissue are great, even if they were literally the first two tracks off a random DAT labeled 'Polygon Window'...

UT1-Dot is another level than the rest, imo. it's like bass-line ambient. i mean, that bassline and all it's subtle changes, it really fucks with your head. one moment it's a distinct 4-5 notes, and other it's just a pulsing drone, so awesome. plus the synth line plays what's probably my favorite aphexian melody ever, behind the lead melody in Wax The Nip... oh, and the unintelligible robot speak, what's it, in cornish? fucking chills man!
